| Application Procedure & Conditions
English UK /TRINITY Cert IBET at I.L.I.
1. If you would like to attend the course, please apply by filling in the application form and sending it electronically or through the www.teachertraining.hu website of I.L.I.. Alternatively, you can use the application form below and, please e-mail it (info@ili.hu) or fax it to I.L.I. as soon as you can to the following fax number: 00-36-28-511369 in order to reserve your place on the course.
On receipt of your application I.L.I. will send you confirmation of receipt and preliminary course booking.
If you work in the EU outside Hungary, I.L.I. will be happy to help you to investigate your eligibility for EU funding.
2. Your place on the course is only guaranteed if you also transfer 200 euros deposit to I.L.I.’s account together with sending the application form. (Bank details are at point 5 below.).
After I.L.I. has confirmed that the course is on, i.e. we have the minimum starting number of participants, please transfer the remaining part of the course fee and the optional certification fee to I.L.I.'s account within three days.
If the course has to be cancelled due to a shortage of applicants 3 weeks before the course starts, I.L.I. will send back the deposit money to your account within 3 days.
3. Booking accommodation: we recommend you to choose one of these two places:
www. panziosissi.hu or www.erzsebetkiralynehotel.hu which are within 100-500 meters from I.L.I. Both hotels are good and clean. (Panzio Sissy is the nearest to I.L.I., only about 100 meters and their room rates are also a little lower.)
If you prefer self-catering accommodation in shared flats for about 20-25 euros/night our office can help you to get with that if you indicate your wish to book such an accomodation in your application form.
You will arrange and pay for your hotel/pension booking yourself, the I.L.I. office will help you with the booking of your self-catering accommodation for which you will pay on arrival.
4. All bank charges are to be covered by the participant.

The full course fee must arrive at I.L.I.'s account by no later than one month before the course begins.

6. Please e-mail (or fax) the copy of the proof of the remitted sum to I.L.I.: 00-36-28-511 369.
Your application is only valid if the full course fee arrives at I.L.I.'s account by no later than one month before the start of the course.
7. You can get a receipt for all payments during the course in I.L.I.'s office. Receipts can only be made out to the person/company whose name appears as the sender of the course fee on the bank statement we receive from our bank.
8. Deadline for application: when you have decided to attend our course, please apply as soon as possible so your place on the course is guaranteed
9. DISCOUNTS:
- a.) If you bring another colleague to the course who has paid the full course fee, you will get 5 % of your course fee back from us in HUF in cash at I.L.I..
- b.) Early registration discount: 5% off the course fee if you apply 3 months before the start of the course as well as sending the deposit of 200 euros, then transfer the remaining course fee within 3 days after I.L.I. has confirmed the course.
- c.) Only one type of discount can be taken advantage of by the same participant (either a. or b.).
10. The course fee of 850 Euros is valid if there are at least 14 participants on the course. If there are less than 14 participants, we could still run it, but the course fee will change in the following way: if there are 11 people on the course the course fee is 960 euros; with 10 people: 1050 euros
11. Booking air-tickets: Please only pay for your air-, or train tickets after I.L.I. has confirmed the receipt of the full payment of the course fee from a minimum of 14 participants.

13. Accident & Medical Insurance: Participants are advised to have their own appropriate insurance.
14. Cancellations: If you have to withdraw from the course for some reason, you can send someone else instead of yourself. If you are not able to do that, there is a 50% cancellation fee if you withdraw 4 weeks before the start of the course. If you withdraw within two weeks of the start of the course, there is no re-fund of the course fee.
If the course is cancelled due to insufficient uptake by the beginning of the third week before the start of the course, compensation will be limited to a full reimbursement of monies paid to I.L.I.
15. Applicant Selection Criteria
To be accepted onto the course native speaker applicants should normally have as a minimum:
• a first degree from a recognised institute of higher education (bachelor's level)
• minimum a preliminary qualification in teaching English as a foreign language (eg. Trinity College London's CertTESOL, Cambridge ESOL's CELTA, or a university PGCE in EFL)
• at least one years' experience teaching English (not necessarily Business English) constituting a minimum of 15 hours per week over a 32-week period.
• Previous experience of around 4o hours of teaching business English is also considered desirable but is not essential.
Non-native speaker teachers should normally have as a minimum:
• a first degree from a recognised institute of higher education in English and / or
• fluency in both spoken and written English to Cambridge Proficiency level
• at least one years' experience teaching English (not necessarily Business English) constituting a minimum of 15 hours per week over a 32-week period.
• Previous experience of around 4o hours of teaching business English is also considered desirable but is not essential.
